The four Battenberg brothers brought together at Osborne in 1885 for Heinrich's wedding to Queen Victoria's youngest daughtrer, Princess Beatrice of England. His elder brother Louis was already married to Queen Victoria's granddaughter, Victoria of Hesse, and Sandro wanted to marry another of her granddaughters, Victoria of Prussia.
